Summit Conditions

All paths to the summit of Snowdon are now clear of snow but cold weather clothing should still be carried. The summit cafe still remains closed but there is a rumour that it is due to open for the coming bank holiday. The Snowdon mountain railway are only running trains as far as the Clogwyn station which leaves about a forty minutes walk to the summit.

Petes eats provides food for the walker and climber in a warm and friendly atmosphere and is only five minutes walk from Swn-y-Gwynt. The Peak brasseri is at the other end of the high street, opposite the new Joe Browns clothing shop and has a menu which changes each month. The food is of excellent quality.
