Activities available around Llanberis
In Llanberis there are activities for every age group. From Rock
climbing on the granite walls and scuba diving in Vivian quarry to
leisurley picnics by the lakeside. Canoes and boat's can be hired in
the village and for the more energetic there are walks to the summit
of Snowdon or through the woodlands of the Padarn country park and
Coed doctor. Tickets for the Snowdon Mountain Railway and the Lake
Railway are available in the village for family's with children or
for people who just want to enjoy the views from the highest peak
in England and Wales. There are some very enjoyable cycle paths
around the village and bikes can be hired from from Swn-y-Gwynt.

£20.00 per bike... In less than five minutes walk from
Swn-y-gwynt you can hire a canoe from Surf-Lines and enjoy a day
on Padarn lake exploring the coves...  Wood peckers
can be seen among the trees in the Padarn country park and Coed doctor
